A true story from the hell of the normalization camps
Jan Tománek (* 1978) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In addition to film and artistic work, he also devoted himself to writing gaming and film magazines and founded the computer magazine Level, where he worked as editor-in-chief. He is known as the director, screenwriter and producer of the audience-successful animated movies Goat story, for which he won a number of international film awards and was also nominated for the Czech Lion. In 2018 he published his first novel - the conspiracy thriller The Butterfly Scream.
He lives with his wife on the outskirts of Prague and is the father of two children.

Almost unknown, yet one of the hardest prisons, which was established by secret order of the Minister of the Interior in 1953.Do Minkovic, in addition to criminal recidivists were primarily placed prisoners who were convicted of so-called political paragraphs, especially for incitement, subversion and subversion of the republic, crimes against the republic and the states of the socialist system
The imprisonment in Minkovice was inhuman, humiliating, dangerous to physical and mental health. The usual method of re-educating prisoners was to reduce dietary allowances, beatings, placement in OVKT (the Department of Disciplinary Execution), ZO (Special Department with High Labor Standards, separation from other prisoners, limited meals), bullying in the workplace, humiliation, complex dehonestation, physical abuse… The prison was quietly demolished in February 1990…
